From the recording Road Trip Rocker

I recorded the original riff back in late 2017 in Magna Utah. I came back and re-worked it after moving to Vegas testing out my Epiphone Master-bilt DRM. It was the first time I'd even been able to purchase a guitar in awhile.

I was pleased with the sound of the solid wood on the guitar, it made an impressive riff to start "Going All Out" and the guitar harmonized well when playing alternative rhythm on the overdubs. The rest of the track fell into place later as I was able to finish the mix.

Lyrics were written back in 2019 talking about time being short and having the best times that you can. It also delves into memories of waterski and small lake outings. Walking the path to the monument, seeing the stars and the sky. A sense of accomplishment.

Going All Out written by Jesse Crawford performed by Marc Antarez ©®™Sodacon Music 2020

There's a path to great times
Driving down the only road
I took my message to the barber
Told her to cut my hair this way

Pathway stretched up to the monument
The sky was gold the leaves amber gray
Told me to create what's all before me
You'll heal in time and start again

Great times again
Going all out for friends
There's a path to the lake
Times and all
All the smiles from familiar face

Doesn't matter how much time and space
Can't wait to see your familiar face
Someday relaxing deep in the ocean
If it's my brief time in the universe
Let the great times begin

Great times again
Going all out for friends
There's a path to the lake
Times and all
All the smiles from familiar face
